Disappearing Trail

At tick junction, the trail changes names from the Spruce Creek Trail to the San Carpoforo Trail. I'd rename it "disappearing trail." Here is a picture taken of the junction coming in the opposite direction (from Dutra Flat).

You can see on the upper left side the oak tree we rested under. You go downhill from tick junction to a creek.

Watch out for the poison oak bushes, you're not free of them anywhere on this trip!

Then you climb the hill for about a half mile. It starts to flatten out a bit, and then you come upon Dutra Flat camp, just before you reach the trail junction signs.
