Last backpacking post


Here is a view from the trail.

It was a great trip, and beautiful. We used Tecnu heavily, but still managed to get poison oak everywhere. I loved the scenery, the trail, and the camp, but the poison oak clinched it for me. We won't be repeating this trip! "That's all I have to say about that..."

April, I just visited your post, and Dad and I just loved it. We looked at the pictures, and the captions, and feel like we were there.. our feet hurt, and our skin is ictchy... You guys are in alot better shape than we are.. but we used to do that, when we were your age.. When the new baby comes, you will have to get one of those pack animals.. a lhama...or a St. Bernard??? just kidding.. I love the pictures you took, but wondered how you took the ones of all 3 of you in the picture..you must have a timer on it, and ran to get in the picture too. The scenery is gorgeous... and we could almost smell the salt air.. Thanks for your great report.. !!
