Salmon Creek Trail

This is the first vista point of the ocean. You can also see Highway 1 winding along the hillside. The trailhead starts at a hairpin turn, inland, on Highway 1.

Michael is amazing! He carried all of our gear in or on his pack. Strapped to his pack, beneath the blue rain tarp, was two tents, two sleeping bags, and two sleep mats. What a stud! The blue tarp was wrapped around everything on our trip up the trail, because we had a 40% chance of rain, and had learned that our gear wasn't very waterproof.
