The Rest of the Story

Here are a few more miscellaneous pictures of our trip to WA.
One picture is of Dad & Terry sitting on a rock in Rock Creek. We went there one afternoon, to cool off in the water, but it was too cool for me, I never went swimming. The creek is really pretty, and I loved the geology & watching the fish come eat periwinkles that we threw in.
The next picture is one Michael took of Jake when they were flying. He's standing in front of Mt. Hood. Michael says that the Hood River starts on Mt. Hood from the glacial runoff. As we drove by the Hood River, I noticed that it's water looked blue green, like it had rock flour in it.
The other picture is of Scott & Lissette playing together at the Bonneville Dam Visitors Center. Lissette loved walking with her cousin behind the stroller and was belly laughing the whole way. The kids also enjoyed climbing up and down the carpeted stairs, and watching the fish was fun for everyone. It was a great way to spend a hot Sabbath afternoon! I loved watching the huge salmon swim by the observation windows, it's like going to a free aquarium! Two thumbs up!!
