Bears at CALM
Lissette & I stopped in at CALM one day during our ''week of Bakersfield." We spent nearly everyday that week in Bakersfield at Doctors and stores, so I decided that no matter how hot it was, that I owed her a little bit of kid time. She enjoyed pushing the stroller around the park. We stopped at the duck pond & she enjoyed the "quackers" for a time, but we had to "keep it moving!"
We walked by the bears and were shocked to find that the two girls, Cinnamon & Dart, were playing in the heat. They jumped in the pool to cool off every now & then, but were very involved in their brawl. I had never seen them so active, I guess it must be that season or something, because the zoo keeper said that they have been acting this way alot lately. We took Michael on Sabbath evening to see the bears and they were at it again. I'm going to upload a video of their fight to my Snapfish account.
