My Unusual Finch

I looked out at the birdfeeder with Lissette this morning. She enjoys talking to the birdies, and seeing them fly. We found an unusual finch. It appears that one of my neighbors had some zebra finches that they did not want anymore, and released them. There is a pair of them, and they've been eating at my feeder all day. I've heard that there are large populations of parakeets in the US, which have been housepets and then were released by their owners and are thriving. I hope that this cute little pair will make it. They may be depending on my birdfeeder.
