Baby Dedication

On Friday night, we had Christopher dedicated to God at our church. Really, a baby dedication ceremony doesn't do much for the baby, but it is a public declaration by the parents that they are taking on the responsibility to raise this child for God's kingdom. Pastor Joham had us take some vows in front of the church family & also had the church family vow to help us in the rearing of our children. I sang "Find Your Wings" by Mark Harris & we had a special prayer for Christopher & our family. It was a nice night & Christopher slept through the whole thing - nice to not have him screaming or something!
