Oscar needs a new home

Hello,
I've been really bummed lately because my best buddy Oscar has got to find a new home, somehow. He bit Lissette about a week ago, he didn't draw blood, but he did it totally unprovoked. Lissette walked by him & he was feeling old & grumpy, I guess, but he bit her even though she didn't step on him, tease him or anything. When I smacked him for it, he bit me & he drew blood. I can't have a dog that bites little kids & I've been dethroned as Alpha Bitch, so he's got to go.

I can't get the humane society to take him & animal control says I've got to take him to the vet to be put down. I've run ads around town & on the internet trying to find him a home without little kids, but I've got no takers. If you know of something I can do, other than shooting him, please leave me a comment or email me.

He was my first baby & I hate getting rid of him, but my kids safety is most important. Still, I'm bummed.
