And Then It Snowed

Our weather just changed on Sabbath. No more clear skies for us. We are supposed to have precipitation for the whole week, but not rain....snow! The cold front that we had made the ground ready for the snow to stick & we got a lot of build up. We had about 2 feet of snow on Sunday morning. These are the pictures that we took once we got all bundled up.

In this first picture you can see that the snow is all the way up to Christopher's head.

This snow was still dry & fluffy, so we decided to sweep it off the driveway & walkways before it got heavier.

I couldn't resist! I had to fall into the snow for a snow angel! Getting up is always the trouble...a hand...please!!!

By the way, Christopher is not really in the first picture, just his hat. Had ya goin' didn't I?!! "What kind of a mother...her baby.......in the SNOW!!!!" He he!!! I wouldn't do that to poor Fiffer!

The snow really was that high on Lissette however. She really didn't like walking around in it & wanted to go inside the house way before her daddy & I were ready. We were in the middle of building an igloo for Riley, our in-laws dog, to stay in. Riley is displaced from his home at Jake & Lisa's because the snow is deeper than their fence which keeps him from roaming. I've got to take a picture of our doggie igloo next.
