On Christmas morning we packed up & headed to Grandma & Papa Allen's house, (now conveniently located 1.5 miles away) for breakfast. Papa made omelets & Grandma made hash browns & we had a great time visiting before we opened gifts.
Christopher got this adorable sweater & hat set from Grandma Allen, doesn't he look ready for the snow? We had a snow storm heading our way which delivered a bundle of snow for a white Christmas.
Lissette in a dress from Auntie Lisa J. Thanks! It's very cute. We had a hard time convincing her to put in the adorable matching barrettes, but Mama always wins that battle eventually.
Scott had a great time with the Cheese Whiz! He made cheesy creations for the whole family & was quite entertained while the rest of us played Monopoly. Papa won the game & poor Grandma was the first one to lose, because she kept getting sent to jail...hmmm. Anyways Scott came up with some really interesting cheesy creations, such as a layer of Wheat Thins, & Cheese Whiz, topped off with a Hershey's Kiss. Next year I think I'll put a can of Cheese Whiz in his stocking!!
