Eagle Season

The winter is Bald Eagle season in the Gorge. On our way to church one Sabbath, we saw these 4 eagles perched on the rock outcrop. We have a series of 5 tunnels that we go through on the way to church in White Salmon, I believe that this is tunnel 4. The second picture is as close as I could get with my camera. How I wished that I had a telephoto lens that day! Some of these eagles are immature Bald Eagles. I've counted as many as 7 eagle sightings along that stretch of road in 1 day! They are beautiful creatures!! In the summer, most of the eagles head North & they are replaced, in our area, by the Osprey.
