"Home Schooling" Field Trip

Everyday is a chance to teach when you get to be a stay-at-home mom, and sometimes I like to take the kids on "field trips." We went to the zoo one Sunday when Michael was home working on his classwork, so that he could have some peace. Christopher learned some new animal sounds & Lissette got to practice saying the animals names, & teaching her brother to growl. It was a clear, but cold day. We were bundled up warmly, but were frozen by the time we finally left. It felt really good to all of us to get out of the house, we had a touch of cabin fever!
