Canoeing on the Siletz River

The best part of the trip to the coast was our trip down the Siletz River by canoe. It was a perfect day for canoeing, really calm and (my new favorite word) "autumnal." The fall colors were beautiful to watch while we floated downstream on the dark mirror of water. It was a very peaceful way to spend a Sabbath afternoon.
