Poor Michael! He had to carry everything else that we needed. You can see he has a tent, two sleeping bags, and a sleepmat strapped to the full backpack. We didn't find much of anything that we could do without, so he hauled it up the steep trail.
He's such a trooper, actually I really believe that he's part mountain goat. I've yet to see the man tire, or not be able to finish any hike. What a stud!
