The Critters We've Seen
We've run across a lot of critters lately, and I thought I'd share some of the photos we got of them.
This photo Michael captured while climbing an oak tree to retrieve his hand-launch glider. As he was climbing down he noticed that something was hissing at him. We're not sure if they were juveniles or adults who thought it was way to hot to fly away.

Barn Owls ! What a great find !!!
They don't hoot like other owls they make a wheezy cry just like you desribed. That must of been a wonderful surprise to see.
